Job Description

01 – E-Commerce Platform Strategy & Development

 

●     Design and manage the Department’s e-commerce infrastructure, including online retail stores and integrated vendor dashboards.

●     Ensure seamless integration of payment gateways, product listings, order tracking, customer service, and inventory management systems.

●     Oversee partnerships for logistics, warehousing, and delivery solutions.

.02 – a. SBO On-boarding and Retail Empowerment

●     Identify and onboard qualified SBOs to participate in the Department’s retail platforms.

●     Coordinate training programs on e-commerce readiness, digital branding, customer engagement, and fulfillment operations.

●     Monitor performance metrics for each SBO and provide continuous improvement support.

.03 - Marketing & User Engagement

●     Collaborate with the Communications Unit to develop digital marketing campaigns (social media, SEO, email, and paid ads).

●     Lead seasonal campaigns, promotional events, and product launches on the platform.

●     Optimize user experience and customer journey to boost retention and loyalty.

.04 - Data Analytics & Reporting

●     Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, order volumes, and revenue.

●     Use insights to improve site functionality, vendor success, and product-market fit.

●     Prepare regular performance dashboards and reports for executive review.

05 - Compliance & Platform Governance

●     Ensure all digital transactions are secure and meet regulatory requirements (including data privacy and financial regulations).

●     Establish internal policies for seller verification, quality control, product compliance, and dispute resolution.

●     Coordinate with Legal and IT units to manage platform integrity and risk.

.06 - Partnership Development

●     Build strategic alliances with fintech providers, delivery firms, digital marketing agencies, and tech partners.

●     Facilitate collaborations with payment processors and third-party logistics to enhance customer satisfaction.


Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in E-Commerce, Business, Information Systems, Digital Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience in e-commerce operations or digital retail leadership.
Prior experience managing a multi-vendor online marketplace is a strong advantage.
Knowledge of logistics, payment systems, and online customer service protocols
